Tom Klein studied music in the Netherlands, earning a masters degree on both guitar and bass guitar. He has always loved composing music and has had very interesting success with it.
After his studies he recorded his first solo album Statement in Germany. Tracks from it were played on television and radio throughout Europe.

As a live musician Tom has played with several notable bands, not only in the Netherlands but in the rest of Europe as well. With the Rob Mostert Hammond Group he recorded the album ‘Englewood Cliffs Sessions’ (2010) in the famous Blue Note Studio of Rudy van Gelder in New Jersey (USA). To work with the renowned Rudy van Gelder - who has recorded icons like Miles Davis, Jimmy Smith and John Coltrane - was a great thrill.

Tom works frequently with the well-known Dutch singer and presenter Marlies Claasen. He has produced her albums Painting the Sun and Silent Words and wrote most of the songs.

In his own Studio Tom writes music for several multimedia purposes: (corporate)films, leaders for Radio and TV, commercials, music for documentary’s etc.. In 2014 he wrote the soundtrack for an impressive documentary about WWII: Sailing for Victory, broadcasted on National Geographic Channel.

For years now I’ve been writing music for (multi)media productions. For example soundtracks for documentairies and (corporates)films, leaders, soundlogo’s, animations, commercials and custom composititions. You can check some examples here.

In my heart I am a songwriter; I love to tell storys with music! I write songs for several artists, for my own groups or songs for special occassions.
